Are the coffee beans roasted in Singapore, and how fresh are they when I receive the coffee bag?
Yes, all our coffee beans are roasted locally. We will rest the beans for 3-5 days before we pack and deliver to you.
What is in your traditional Nanyang coffee ?
Coffee beans, sugar, margarine.
Do you have a physical shop and do you offer same products at the shop ?
We have a stall at Beo Crescent market ever since the market first opened, we are at #01-53, and the range of products are different from what we are offering online.
I see there are few types of coffee that you have at both online and the stall, but why are the prices different?
Yes, few of them do have significant difference in price. Our stall has been around for almost 60 years, serving many regulars and new customers who have become friends and neighbours. Many have moved to other parts of Singapore yet still come back to us. A number of them are elderlies who have been buying from us for decades, and a number of them do not have stable income or any. We do our best to keep the prices as affordable and friendly to them at the stall, even with the recent huge inflation of costs due to pandemic and conflicts. Even with very low margins, we do our best to manage the best we can to continue providing good coffee for our customers.
After I subscribe, how do I keep track of my orders? Our consumption rate may differ from time to time, the fixed date every month or every week may not suit us, how does it work here? Lastly, do I need to pay for delivery fees as a subscriber?
Sure, all orders will be recorded in the system, and you will see the order details in your account, for subscribed order you will see exactly how many orders are left in balance.
For scheduling of delivery, just drop us a message or text or email with your account name and order code number and your request. And we will make all the arrangement and deliver to you within 7 days. If you prefer to have a fixed schedule, e.g. 2nd week of the month every month, we can do so too.
Yes, you get to enjoy good discounts on orders + delivery fee altogether for our subscribers. The reason we are not able to simply waive off delivery fee or give big discounts is that we still do incur overheads and operating costs, and we do not inflate prices just to be able to offer huge discounts or implement a fee structure that is not sustainable for our business. We hope to continue serving and supplying more decades, to all our loyal and new customers/ clients our good quality coffee and other products.
How much is your delivery fees, and why do I need to pay?
Please see our delivery fee structure prices and range below:
Fee Waived – orders > $50
Fee $6.00 – orders < $50
Fee $8.50 – orders < $30
As much as we wish to avoid, unfortunately the fees apply because there are costs e.g. vehicle petrol, parking fee, time, physical delivery labor, and we will deliver no matter rain or shine. Kudos to all the delivery men and women out there.
Do I enjoy any discount for subscribing ?
Yes, currently we offer up to 14% discount for our subscribers, and we also offer additional 1.5% discount for PayNow users. (Orders $100 and above only)
